To empower widows and orphans by fostering self-reliance, reducing poverty, sustaining livelihoods, promoting gender equality, and enhancing socio-economic conditions within their communities.
WIDOWS, AGED AND ORPHANS HOPE SUPPORT FOUNDATION is a Noble idea conceived by the first Lady of Ekiti State, DR (Mrs) Olayemi Oyebanji as a means to reach the most vulnerable population in our society of which widows and orphans makes present a large population.
In the past few months, the project has conducted a training programme for data collectors from all the LGA’S in the state which resulted in a data base of 25,000 widows and 2,000 orphans.
To empower widows and orphans by fostering self-reliance, reducing poverty, sustaining livelihoods, promoting gender equality, and enhancing socio-economic conditions within their communities.

This is shocking to at first when i was called that i have been shortlisted to be part of the beneficiaries of WAOH PROJECT without even knowing anybody at all. My name is Mrs. Yetunde Eniolorunda, i am a widow and i am also one of the beneficiaries of WAOH PROJECT of the Wife of Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji. I was given a grinding machine to support myself and chilren. i really appreciated the governor's wife for her gesture, it has brought joy and hope to me and my household.
